light and dark.

I am setting off on an expedition through colour, light ,shape and texture
to find my father.
I moved to Vermont in 2014 and learned a few things this decade .
In a workshop with
Elizabeth Bunsen we learned the processes of rusting, indigo dyeing and eucalyptus steaming. I enjoy incorporating these processes into my work. They add so much richness and earthiness.
My work is influenced by the colours and textures of nature.
I work to create pieces that are
visually stunning and emotionally impactful.
Being a member of Dragonheart since 2016
has been an emotionally meaningful experience.
a combo of beauty, camaraderie and positivity.
I begin each piece with a vision in mind, but allow the materials and my instincts to guide me as I work. I believe that the process of creating art is as fulfilling as the finished piece.... perhaps more fulfilling.
